The Destination

The Kandy region, where Santani resides, is renowned for its gently undulating landscapes, vibrant jungles, and soothing rivers.

As Sri Lanka’s spiritual centre, Kandy holds immense cultural significance. It is home to one of Buddhism’s most sacred relics and is the site of the world-famous Kandy Perahera, a vibrant annual festival featuring elaborately adorned elephants and thousands of performers.

In June, temperatures hover between a pleasant 25-30°C, perfectly situated between the region’s two rainy seasons (April to May and September to December).
